Bolo Yeung martial arts warrior, actor and bodybuilder had a great impact on my warrior training and martial art journey growing up.

As a young warrior, I can remember watching Bolo Yeung starring next to Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon and then to later see him star along side Jean Claude Van Damn in Blood Sport, one of my favorite martial art movies for this time period.

Bolo went on to star in several other martial art films during his career.

I recently was made aware of a great article on Bolo Yeung and wanted to share it with you. Here is part of the article: Bolo Yeung: The Beast From The East

"Around the same time that Arnold Schwarzenegger was making his first foray into cinema with the godawful Hercules in New York (1969), so too, on the other side of the Pacific Ocean, was a young Chinese bodybuilder by the name of Yang Sze.

Sze, who would later change his name to Bolo Yeung, was a champion bodybuilder who dominated the Mr Hong Kong contest (an oriental Mr Olympia), winning every title between 1970 and 1980.

The ‘Chinese Hercules’, however, is more famous for his iconic film roles than his bodybuilding credentials..."
