My Connection to the Martial Art Movie Bloodsport

The 1987 martial art movie Bloodsport, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, was based on the real life of Frank Dux, whom I have personally trained with.

The real life Frank Dux is even more impressive than the character portrayed in this martial arts film. I am also friends with Frank Dux's brother. He lives here in Israel.

I still watch Bloodsport every now and then when I need a little inspiration. The action is great and the story is inspirational, this is one of the greatest martial arts movie I have ever seen.

Interesting connection to Bloodsport
by: Kuma

I too, enjoyed the martial arts movie bloodsport. It was the first martial arts films starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, I had seen.

I owned a VHS copy and have recently purchased it on DVD. I have never know anyone that had actual contact with the real Frank Dux.

Thanks for sharing with us.
