FEDOR vs ROGER Strikeforce MMA Event
On Saturday, November 7, 2009, Strikefore brought Mixed Martial Arts back to Prime Time CBS. It was the first time an MMA event was on network television since the defunct EliteXC broadcast its final event on CBS October 4, 2008.
The Fedor vs Rogers mixed martial arts fight was the Strikeforce MMA Main event of the evening. This was the fight I was looking forward to and I was not disappointed. Fedor Emelianenko TKO'ed (via Punches) Brett Rogers in the 2nd round at 1:48.
It seems as though this humble Russian Heavyweight Champion will retain his title and add to his ever growing legend.
Hopefully Dana White will open up his precious UFC and let some cross MMA Events occur. I would love to see Fedor battle some of the UFC Heavyweights. Just MHO.. :)
