UFC 100 Lesnar vs Mir ST-Pierre vs Alves Henderson vs Bisping

UFC 100 Lesnar vs Mir ST-Pierre vs Alves Henderson vs Bisping

UFC 100 aired Saturday, July 11,2009. Unfortunately, I had a prior commitment that I could not reschedule and missed this event. I wanted to see the Heavyweight Championship rematch bout between Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir.

Frank Mir had defeated Brock Lesnar via kneebar submission during his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut during UFC 81. It stood to be a good match, the grappling skills of Mir vs. the quick and destructive power of Lesnar

Brock Lesnar was awarded a TKO over Frank Mir at 1:48 of round the 2. Thus becoming the Undisputed UFC Heavyweight champion.
The other high profile bout of the UFC 100 was the Welterweight title fight between George Saint Pierre vs. Thiago Alves.

Saint Pierre recently defended his Welterweight Championship title against Jon Fitch and UFC Lightweight Champion BJ Penn.
George Saint Pierre won over Thiago Alves by unanimous decision (50-45, 50-44, 50-45), retaining his UFC Welterweight championship title.
There was one other match listed in the promos of UFC 100. In which top Middleweight fighters, Dan Hederson and Michael Bisping battled for a shot at the Middleweight Championship Title against Anderson Silvia.

These two fighters are no strangers they were opposing coaches back in the 9th season of The Ultimate Fighter Series on Spike TV. Dan Hederson led Team USA, while Michael Bisping led Team UK.
Dan Hederson Knocked out Michael Bisping with a punch at 3:20 of the second round.
If any of you watched UFC 100 last night, please share your thoughts, comments and/or reviews below. I know I am looking forward to a future fight between Brock Lesner and Fador. I am not sure Brock will fair as well in that match up.
