Listen as the Warriors begin their Stories

Here is an old native American warrior story. It was originally told to me as "A story of two warrior wolves". I changed it to two bears for obvious reasons. I am a bear warrior after all. (LOL)

Fighting Bears Represent this Warrior StoryThis story is summarizes by the two fighting bears at the top right corner of every page on Big Bear Academy's website well here it is.. Big Bear Academy - Training Hall of the Bear Warrior An old and seasoned warrior was sharing a warrior story to young warriors of his tribe.

As the young warriors gathered to hear his wisdom, He began.. A battle is raging inside of me.. .a great battle between two bear warrior spirits.

The first bear warrior spirit expresses his warrior journey with..

  • Fear
  • Anger
  • Envy
  • Sorrow
  • Regret
  • Arrogance
  • Self Pity
  • Resentment
  • Inferiority
  • Lies
  • Superiority
  • Ego
  • Greed
  • False-Pride
  •

While the other bear warrior spirit expresses his warrior journey with..

  • Joy
  • Peace
  • Love
  • Hope
  • Sharing
  • Serenity
  • Humility
  • Kindness
  • Benevolence
  • Friendship
  • Empathy
  • Gererosity
  • Truth
  • Compassion
  • Faith

  • This warrior battle exists in all warriors young and old alike. It is going on inside you, too.

They thought about this for a minute, and then one young warrior asked the old and seasoned warrior.."Which bear warrior spirit will win?"

A young and eager warrior cried out.."I know, it's the one you feed, right." The old warrior paused for a moment as to ponder the answer for a moment. As he answered they all grew very quite.

You are part right my young brave feeding one will make it stronger, but you must learn to understand both bear warrior spirits, finding a balance in life, battle and your warrior journey.

If you ignore and starve the first bear warrior spirit and do not tame it. It could creep up and consume you without you ever being the wiser.

For you see some of it's qualities can save your life. Yet, if you ignore and starve the second bear spirit and do not nurture and grow it's qualities, you simply become a lonely, bitter and a shallow shell.

So, as in all of nature, your warrior spirit must also contain balance. Go my young warrior and find balance in all things.

Hope you enjoy this story as much as I do. If you have a warrior story that you would like to share, let me know.
